I finally got a yellow door!
I was lucky enough to be taking the trash out the same time someone was taking out a broken down entertainment center. and. there was this amazing little door! so. I asked for it. and luckily they let me have it. because it was going to be trash anyways.

YAY!!
so. I was excited. and i knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I had picked up some "oops" paint for a couple dollars in a light yellow color. so. it was perfect!
I had my super handy husband help me out with this project. I sanded. He spray painted the base color. then we went to chalkboard paint the glass that was on there because. I am impatient and I didn't want to wait for my piece of plywood that we were going to replace the glass with. so. We went to chalkboard paint the glass. the door fell!! and the glass shattered. :(
so. I came up with the next best idea I could think of cheap and fast. a cardboard box. so. cut it out. spray painted it tons of times. and moved on to painted the door yellow and then roughing it up around the corners.
it is perfect!!
I am so happy with it!
It will be featured in a lot more things to come!!
